Dear Father,
Today, as we celebrate the arrival of your messenger 2,000 years ago, we want to remember that you created us as an extension of Yourself. Not as bodies, but as minds. We have all Your attributes and qualities.
The only small mistake we made a long time ago, so long ago that we no longer remember it, was to imagine what a world would be like in which we were independent of You, a world of separation. And we took that idea so seriously that we created what we now call the Universe, an environment in which to hide from You and have “our kingdom.”
In Your infinite goodness, You provided an immediate solution, but that crazy idea unfolded what we now believe to be our world, a world of fear, suffering, and death. A horror movie that is now over. A nightmare from which we have already awakened and are now by Your side.
Today we want to remember that this is not our Home. We want to be aware that You are always by our side and that, whatever we do in this play, we know that it is enough to remember our essence as Your Children to know that we were created from Your Love and that our only mission is to spread it, just as You did with us.
Thank You for accompanying us in this experience and teaching us the way back home through true forgiveness, guided by the Holy Spirit.
